Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 28-16 Jackson Ave highlight a modern, clean building with strong security, well-maintained amenities, and convenient access to multiple subway lines. Residents appreciate the spacious layouts, in-unit laundry, and good water pressure. The rooftop and shared courtyard are valued features. However, noise from nearby train tracks and thin walls affects quiet enjoyment. Management receives mixed feedback—maintenance requests are often timely, but overall responsiveness and communication can be slow and frustrating. Package handling and elevator congestion at peak times are recurring concerns. While neighbors are generally average, the building attracts many transient tenants, reducing community feel.

Nice Building and Great Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Excellent location, very close to the subway station.
Good security. You can only access your own floor. If you need to visit a different floor, you must ask the front desk to unlock the elevator for you, and they are always responsible and helpful.
Nice gym and apartment facilities.
Maintenance is very responsive. If you report an issue (e.g., blocked sink), they usually send someone to fix it the next day. Very quick service.
Cons:
The leasing office and management team can be very unresponsive. Be prepared to send multiple emails before getting a reply. Quite frustrating.
