Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of 28-16 Jackson Ave emphasize its excellent location near subways and modern amenities like in-unit laundry, a gym, and secure access. The building is generally clean, well-maintained, and features strong water pressure and effective heating. Tenants commend responsive maintenance teams but often find management slow and uncommunicative. Noise complaints are common, mainly due to subway proximity, thin walls, and some disruptive neighbors, impacting community vibes. Package room delays and occasional issues with shared facilities are noted. Despite these challenges, the building’s security, rooftop views, and convenience make it attractive, especially for commuters valuing modern urban living.

must flex rooms

Pros

nice amenities (gotten more expensive), floor to ceiling windows great, in unit laundry, everything is new, close to subway and good proximity to everything in lic

Cons

neighbors would smoke in bathroom above/below me and constantly have the smell waft into my bathroom, would complain to building management and they would just warn the neighbor but not enforce anything. package room has hours and can take a while to get a package
