Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for buildings managed by Prospect Heights Portfolio LLC underscore significant concerns about management responsiveness and maintenance. Many residents appreciate the location and friendly neighbors; however, issues such as slow maintenance responses, particularly regarding heating and leaks, are common. The cleanliness and garbage management have also been highlighted as problematic. While some tenants recommend the buildings for their positives, a notable number express dissatisfaction with the management's disregard for tenant needs and rising rents. Overall, prospective renters should be cautious and may experience mixed living conditions without reliable support from management.

Decent place in good location

Pros

Nice neighbors, great location.

Cons

Maintenance often incredibly slow. Took months for them to address mold problems in bathroom. Often did not have functioning heating in winter.

Renter beware of management and building

Pros

Good location for park slope.

Cons

The management is the wow at we’ve encountered in our many years living between Manhattan and Brooklyn. As soon as we moved in there were problems and after speaking with some other neighbors (4 units total) everyone has said different and unsolved issues. Two units AC didn’t work for months with no back pay or alternatives. One of them the AC still doesn’t work (the unit currently for rent). Cockroach problems in all apartments and vestibule. Recently a neighbor had a e-bike stolen from their apartment in the middle of the night. Packages have gone missing the entire time we lived here. The glass door in vestibule doesn’t help and the door doesn’t shut and lock on its own easily. They have seemingly raised all renters rent by minimum 6-8% every year even though units sit vacant. So no one has been here more than 2 years. They don’t respond to emails. Would truly choose anywhere else and any other management company. Don’t let a deal fool you.
