Review Summary for David Moussazadeh
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by David Moussazadeh reveals mixed management experiences. Tenants often praise the cleanliness, pest control, and location, highlighting features like in-unit washers, rooftop access, and friendly supers. However, noise levels tend to be high due to neighborhood activity and thin soundproofing. A recurring concern is slow or inconsistent owner responsiveness, particularly for non-emergency repairs, maintenance requests, and building security issues. Heating is generally reliable, but some report faulty or delayed repairs, while water pressure varies. Garbage management is adequate but packages often get stolen. Overall, renters should expect a well-kept property with attentive staff but anticipate potential delays in management communication and repairs.

DO NOT RENT
Former Tenant
Pros:
There are no pros.
Cons:
The management toggles between unresponsiveness and harassment. There is no heat, there are no rodents, there are constant leaks and flooding. Avoid at all cost. They will try to put repair costs on you.

The space is compact with a small kitchenette, and enough storage. The location is good – right in the heart of the Lower East Side, surrounded by great food, bars, and shops, with easy access to the subway.
Cons:
Super small and not the safest.

Good and bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
GREAT location. Amazing street with a lot going on but not too loud. Wide staircase that makes moving in and out easier. Rooftop is a plus.
Cons:
It's a pre-war building so everything is just very old and breaks often. I'm not sure if the other units were like ours, but our apartment was VERY overpriced. Paid $5,800 for a very, very tiny, dark place. Just beware and make sure to tour before!

Small place in the middle of everything
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s fairly quiet on a not too loud street but close to anything you’d like to do.
Cons:
We had some things break in our apartment and they took many many follow up emails to get someone out to help. This is New York but even for New York standard the apartments are tiny.

It could be worse for sure
Former Tenant
Pros:
Kind super, improved dramatically over the time we lived there. Used to get packages stolen every day. They haven’t been stolen in over a year.
Cons:
Lazy management. Leaks in the roof always. Expensive for what it was. Dirty af when we moved in

Pros:
Good location. If you keep your apartment clean it’s a pretty cleanly apartment.

Management is not prompt. Went months without A/C. Horrible communication.
Advice to owner:
Please be better.

Good but unresponsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good heat, thick walls, and consistent pest removal and trash pickup.
Cons:
Unresponsive owners. If anything breaks, expect a long time to get it fixed; the door to the building was broken for months and we had to go through the trash hallway. If you forget your keys, don't expect a response from the super or owner.
Advice to owner:
Respond more timely to tenants.

Location, location, location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is amazing. Close to all the fun in the LES without being right on top of it. And there's laundry in this unit.
Cons:
The AC doesn't work when it's over 85 degrees. And it's small.
Advice to owner:
Fix the central air.
