Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Sam Kulok reveals a mixed management experience. Many appreciate the convenient, vibrant locations and generally responsive maintenance resolving issues quickly. However, persistent noise disturbances, particularly from bars and nightlife, detract from living comfort. Cleanliness and garbage management receive varied impressions, ranging from well-kept to poorly maintained common areas. Heating systems and pest control are inconsistent, with some tenants reporting issues. Management responsiveness fluctuates, with some praising timely help while others find communication lacking or difficult. Security concerns and lease terms also surface as points of contention. Prospective renters should weigh location benefits against potential noise and maintenance challenges.

Noisy Bar Next Door

Pros

- Maintenance issues fixed quickly. - Spacious with lots of storage. - No pest issues. - Nice, normal neighbors. - Location is good.

Cons

- Bar next door with backyard is very noisy every night. On weekends, club music plays till 10am. - Bad heating system. Doesn't keep the apartment warm and is costly. My first bill in the winter was $350. **Beware, the front building has a rooftop for the bar in the basement. May cause noise.**

Advice to the owners

Get the bar next door to stop the noise at a reasonable hour.
