Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of SIMON DUSHINSKY's Brooklyn buildings often praise the clean, well-maintained common areas, friendly door staff, and responsive maintenance teams who quickly address repair requests. The buildings tend to have good amenities such as gyms, balconies, and rooftop spaces valued by renters. However, common complaints include occasional management communication issues, inconsistent owner responsiveness, noisy neighbors, thin walls, and aging infrastructure like elevators, laundry facilities, and heating units. Some tenants urge management to invest more in long-term repairs, noise control, and infrastructure upgrades. Despite some drawbacks, many residents recommend these buildings for their location and community atmosphere.

Decent no frill building - if cheap

Pros

Clean, decently managed and used to be non-expensive (no frill luxury building)

Cons

Starting to get old (&price goes up), no real vent in the kitchen, walls are thin so if you have loud neighbours it's over

Great apartment and building with all amenities

Pros

Prime location, but tucked away in a private corner that is very quiet

Cons

Landlord was not following law
