Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Randy Glick's buildings reveals a mixed experience with management quality. While some buildings feature responsive supers, cleanliness, and decent maintenance, many reviews cite significant issues with pest control, unresponsiveness, and inadequate upkeep of common areas. Garbage management and elevator reliability are inconsistent across properties. Noise insulation and heating systems sometimes underperform. Several renters criticize slow or dismissive management and suggest improvements in communication and maintenance timeliness. Though some tenants appreciate affordable rents and friendly neighbors, overall management appears uneven, with a notable need for better pest mitigation, prompt repairs, and improved tenant relations to enhance living conditions.

GPG Management Incredibly Unresponsive

Pros

Great neighborhood, close to everything. Street and surrounding areas are quiet, clean and the UES is very pet-friendly

Cons

Management is incredibly unresponsive. Broken appliances take months and sometimes years to be replaced. The super never shows up when he says he will. He finds excuses not fix broken faucets or any issues in any apartment. He has a side hustle buying and selling cars, and is more interested in that than taking care of the building. For example, he never swept or mopped the lobby in the entire time I lived there. Garbage is always overflowing in the outside bins, and he doesn't fix it. He will, however, complain and gossip about all the neighbors in all the buildings he takes care of. The management company, as stated before, doesn't do anythingto fix anything---that includes getting rid of mice and roaches. You're essentially on your own when it comes to getting rid of pests.

decent building, pests

Pros

Quiet, nice neighbors

Cons

Dirty, cockroaches are common in the common areas and in the units, super is quite rude
