Pros

Management is responsive and it feels like they care, many tenants have been in the building for a long time so there is some sense of community, very convenient location being near the port authority/42nd St station, updated appliances and clean finishes, laundry is convenient and machines are almost always open, good heat in winter

Cons

Occasionally got a cockroach but that’s probably just part of being near restaurants, sometimes repairs would take a while for third party plumbers/electricians to come, packages sometimes got stolen

Advice to the owners

I definitely recommend this apartment!

Great rent-stabilized building

Pros

Elevator building with laundry room. Super is a little impatient, but will get the job done. His assistants are great too. Management is responsive. Noise insulation is really good - I can only hear upstairs if they're walking with shoes (loud) or vacuuming (quiet), I can't hear neighbors who live side by side to me. It gets really hot in the winter from the radiators. Neighborhood is charming. Overall, I've been happy to live here!

Cons

Package theft is the biggest problem. I wish we had more modern intercoms that let me open my door remotely rather than having to be home for deliveries etc.
