Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by Allen Abbani consistently points to maintenance and management challenges. Many renters report issues such as pest infestations, especially mice and bed bugs, and poor garbage and cleanliness standards. Heating systems are often described as unreliable, while noise from neighbors and structural issues like thin floors exacerbate comfort concerns. Responsiveness from management is frequently criticized as slow or unsympathetic, with some tenants noting a lack of live-in supervision and delays in repairs. Despite flaws, properties benefit from reasonable rents, good locations, and strong water pressure. Tenants advise improved tenant relations and infrastructure updates for a better living experience.

Reviews

Good if not for management, the trash and mice

Pros

- Rent was reasonable - Heat is good and so was my shower and bath water pressure - High ceilings

Cons

- Property manager is snappy, not sympathetic nor quick to fix any issues - Despite what I was told before moving in, there is no live in supervisor - There is a major mice issue here. They won’t send in an exterminator until after they get their handyman to try several times to fix the situation - Trash room is also the laundry room
