Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for properties managed by Rose Caiola indicate a mixed experience for tenants. While some buildings are praised for their attentive superintendents, cleanliness, and overall maintenance, others have significant issues, particularly related to pest control and management responsiveness. Several tenants highlighted ongoing pest problems, inadequate heat during winter, and poor communication from management regarding maintenance requests. Meanwhile, many residents appreciate the convenient locations and the friendly atmosphere among neighbors. For potential renters, it's wise to seek clarity on ongoing management issues, particularly pest control and responsiveness, before making a decision.

Bed bug issue

Pros

Building has elevator and in building laundry. Nice location on the upper east side.

Cons

The building has experienced an ongoing bed bug issue spanning at least 2 years, and management’s response has been inadequate and focused more on limiting their liability than addressing the problem effectively. Additionally, there is currently a major construction project underway next door, resulting in significant noise and disruption.

Advice to the owners

Take more comprehensive steps to address the underlying bed bug issue rather than focusing primarily on short-term containment.

Amazing and Quiet Building

Pros

Super clean, everyone very nice and apartments are nice size. The super is amazing and so so friendly.

Cons

Wish more washer dryers were there, and when something breaks in building the communication is a little all over the place

Advice to the owners

Get another set of washer and dryers! Great building though.
