Clean and nice parks nearby
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to great parks, elevator in building
Cons:
Fire doors slamming is really annoying, packages get stolen frequently
Advice to owner:
Install pads or springs so the fire doors don't slam

Good starter apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, renovated units, Cesar is a great super
Cons:
Management is impossible to deal with, heat is impossibly hot (but where isn’t it?), packages get stolen, if you live in the back of the building the noise from Harlem tavern during March madness is insane

Slum landlord at it’s finest
Former Tenant
Pros:
Looks pretty on the outside
Cons:
The landlord harasses older tenants to get them to leave. Once they leave they renovate the apartment to rent it out for 3,000. There’s never consistent heat in the winter. Often times complaints would have to be made to 311 for the heat to be turned on. Additionally this building has pest infestation, it’s been this way for years. Repairs and maintenance are nonexistent for older tenants.
Advice to owner:
Valuing your tenants and talking to them in a manner that is professional goes a long way. Additionally, harassment only goes but so far. keep up with repairs in all of the tenants apartments not only a selected few.
