Review Summary for 385 South End Avenue
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 385 South End Avenue commend its prime waterfront location, spacious apartments with great views, and friendly doormen. Cleanliness and quiet surroundings are generally appreciated, along with effective pest control and good water pressure. Residents note responsive maintenance, though occasional delays and slow owner communication are concerns. Rent increases and certain amenity fees have been called unaffordable. The building faces issues with dog owners leaving waste in common and surrounding areas, plus some outdated apartment finishes and neighbors' smoking habits disturb the living experience. Overall, it suits those valuing location and quietness but could benefit from better management of pets and maintenance responsiveness.

Great for what you pay

Great location, lovely doormen, good units, nice pool
Cons:
Have to pay for pool use on top of amenity fee, not always a great response time from maintenance

Location is great. Right next to the water.

Doorman are terrible. Act like they are doing a favor to give you packages. Outside the building always smells like dog piss
