Mantena Good, Surrounding Construction Not

Pros

Building is very clean and well maintained. It’s safe, rather quiet and has a younger, cool vibe.

Cons

Currently (April 2026) there are seven surrounding construction projects. The biggest and most drawn out projects are the Lincoln Tunnel rehabilitation and the Port Authority project which will take YEARS to complete. Those projects run 24/7! They are extremely loud, cause a lot of traffic stress and heaps of dust is flying about.

Advice to the owners

Adjust rent prices to accommodate for the increase of noise and bother this is causing your residents.

High quality apartment

Pros

Location is very convenient being on top of a grocery store. The apartment itself is built well with really solid sound/temperature insulation.

Cons

There's construction going on across the street that can get quite noisy. Once the new building it finished, it might also obstruct the view from your apartment. The heating/cooling system is a little loud.
