Management Slow to Respond
Pros
Gym, elevator (but it is extremely slow), trash is handled well someone takes it out every day from the communal trash room
Cons
If you are a handyman then you would thrive here. The super is competent but to access him you have to go through so many loops and hurdles to get in touch with management and make an appointment for the super to come. Management is slow to respond, close early on Fridays when most people are remote and able to let the super in, and don’t have anyone for weekend emergencies. If your appliances aren’t working, you have no hot water, you have a leak in the ceiling, or any other tasks needed fixed, you will probably have to wait a long time for your problems to resolve your issues.

Pros
The neighborhood is nice, and the area around the building is peaceful and quiet. Convenient location for subway access. The building itself is nice, feels secure, and is kept in good shape. Package theft used to be an issue, but I haven't had a problem over the past year. The actual living spaces are consistently nice, and there haven't been any major maintenance headaches or problems inside the apartment. Having a solid lineup of amenities right in the building adds a lot of convenience to the daily routine.
Cons
The trash situation ruins the elevator: This is easily the worst part. When trash gets collected, it gets dragged across the floors and thrown straight into the elevator. It completely stinks the elevator up and leaves gross liquid leaking on the floor. The elevator is painfully slow at times. The building technically maintains the shared spaces, but they just never feel truly clean on a day-to-day basis. The building has good spaces, but the furniture is old and needs to go. The terrace is actually really nice, but almost all the furniture out there is beat up and needs to be replaced. The hallways are incredibly loud. There’s no sound insulation at all, so if someone walks by talking or slams a door, you hear it perfectly clear right from your room. Management is a bit odd at times, but they are easy to communicate with.
