Big but pricey unit
Pros
New remodel building — we were the first tenants in the unit. Very close to the J but not too close where you can hear it. Plenty of grocery stores and bodegas nearby. Very large unit with storage
Cons
1) Renovation job was very shoddily done— simple things like sealing the wood flooring, making sure all the outlets work, sealing gapping between the walls/floors. Unit has been basically falling apart since the day we moved in 2) Big mgmt company bought the building, raised rent at lease resigning exactly 5% + CPI which has made it too expensive to justify staying another year. No other units nearby cost this much, it’s priced way too high
Advice to the owners
If you want to keep tenants, don’t raise rent to Williamsburg prices!
