Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 43-22 Queens St in Queens emphasize its modern, clean, and well-managed environment with professional and responsive staff. The building offers attractive amenities like a gym, doormen, and in-unit washers/dryers. Residents enjoy spacious units with high ceilings and good water pressure but note some layouts feature large pillars that hinder furniture placement. Noise from ongoing construction and nearby trains is a frequent downside, affecting tranquility. Garbage management varies and some renters mention occasional pest sightings linked to lobby gardens. Though pricey, the location near multiple transit options and markets is highly praised, making it suitable for those prioritizing convenience and amenities despite construction-related disturbances.

Former Tenant

Usual Luxury LIC apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
- No pests - smooth move in and move out with separate elevator - quick and speedy maintenance - nice doormen - had special events once in a while with free food - overall very clean and luxury style - I think you also got 1k off for one month if a resident gave you a referral idk - it’s like a 5 min walk to queens plaza and 8 to queens borough plaza - close to city acres and Asian supermarket
Cons:
- sometimes I could hear train noises from unit - a few time the elevator could take a while - idk if it’s a con but there’s a 75 amenity fee and I just didn’t use them that much - when I was there there was construction so we’d have to the back entrance which could be annoying
