What to check before choosing a building highly rated for water pressure near the Q train in Yorkville
- Confirm the water-pressure context during a showing (e.g., shower vs. kitchen, hot water availability, and whether pressure drops at peak times).
- Check the building’s plumbing setup and age of fixtures if it’s mentioned in the listing details; ask if recent upgrades affect pressure.
- Bring questions about hot-water timing: request how quickly hot water reaches units on your floor.
- Near-the-Q convenience varies by stop; verify the exact walking route from the building to your usual Q train entrance.
- If you’re relying on “best-water-pressure” signals, treat them as a guide and still ask the super/building manager how pressure is maintained across units.
