What to check before choosing a building highly rated for water pressure near the Q24 bus in NYC
- Expect water-pressure reports to be building-level patterns; still verify in-person (shower pressure, kitchen faucet flow, hot-water recovery).
- Confirm whether the issue is only in certain units or times of day by asking the super or leasing office about recent complaints and maintenance work.
- Ask how water pressure is handled for your exact apartment layout (upper vs. lower floors, plumbing age, fixture types).
- Check for any fees or constraints tied to maintenance access or filter/fixture requirements, since restrictions can affect remedies after move-in.
- Compare the full monthly cost beyond rent, including deposits, utilities, and any expected fees for connection, parking, or move-in services.
