Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by Zelig Weiss highlight frequent issues with unresponsiveness and poor communication from management, often requiring multiple reminders for maintenance requests. Common problems include broken elevators, laundry machines, delayed repairs, and incomplete amenities like rooftop lounges. There are reports of package theft and security concerns in some buildings. A decent place with some considerations

Pros

Convenient location above the grocery store and proximity to the subway (though there can be shuttle service on the weekends). Balcony, modern fixtures, central A/C large bathrooms, large floor to ceiling windows. Dishwasher in unit and laundry in building.

Cons

Energy efficiency and high cost of utilities is a very common experience throughout the building. We’ve experienced electricity bills ranging from $250-$550 per month. The rooms are quite small and depending on the unit, the windows can be narrow as well. Shared amenities leave much to be desired. The sun room is 6 years in the making and is left unfinished. Laundry machines and elevators broke frequently. Package theft is commonplace. You need to contact both management and the super to get things fixed.
