Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback on Avraham Garbo's buildings reveals a highly mixed management experience. Some properties, notably at 209 West 135 Street in Manhattan, receive praise for cleanliness, safety, and responsive staff, offering a secure and friendly community with convenient transit access. However, other locations, like 558 Kosciuszko Street and 1648 Norman Street, suffer from poor maintenance, pest problems, slow or unresponsive management, and security issues including package theft. Consistent concerns include unresolved repairs, noisy neighbors, and cleanliness lapses in common areas. Prospective renters should expect variable management quality across buildings, with some properties well maintained and others requiring patience and persistence to address issues.

Easy Move and Good People

Pros

I recently moved here from another house within the same network. It’s great that transfers are possible. I changed jobs and chose a place closer to work so I wouldn’t have to spend so much time commuting. Honestly I thought sharing a house with strangers would be mid, but Outpost really changed my mind. The people I’ve met here are actually nice and the background checks they do made me feel safe about the whole setup from the jump.
