What does “best-water-pressure” mean on Openigloo?

It’s a filter based on Openigloo’s building signals tied to how residents describe water pressure in day-to-day use. It’s meant to help you shortlist, not replace an in-person check.

How do the “near BX19 bus” and water-pressure filters work together?

Both filters apply at the same time. You’ll see Washington Heights buildings that meet the water-pressure signal and are located near the BX19 bus corridor on Openigloo’s map.

Should I trust water pressure results without checking the unit?

Use the filter to reduce searching, then confirm. Ask the building or do a test visit when possible, since pressure can vary by floor, layout, and plumbing condition.

What should I ask the super or leasing office about water pressure?

Ask whether there are known pressure complaints, what plumbing work has been done recently, how maintenance is scheduled, and whether pressure issues are tied to certain floors or times of day.

Does “highly rated” mean every unit has the same water pressure?

No. Building-level signals and tenant input can reflect overall patterns, but unit conditions (plumbing runs, fixtures, and recent repairs) can still differ.

Is there a fee or lease detail I should review before signing?

Yes. Even if a building looks good on water pressure, review the full cost picture (application fees, deposits, and any recurring building fees) and confirm lease terms before paying anything.
