Buildings highly rated for heat near the Q104 bus in NYC

It’s a heat-focused quality filter based on Openigloo’s building-level signals, informed by what renters report. Use it as a shortcut, then confirm the details directly with management for your specific unit.

It narrows results to buildings in NYC that fall near the Q104 bus route, so your commute corridor is part of the building search rather than an afterthought.

No filter can guarantee performance unit-to-unit or season-to-season. Use the heat signals to shortlist, then validate during your tour with questions about maintenance response and current conditions.

Ask about their complaint process, average repair turnaround for heating issues, whether thermostats are resident-controlled, and what the building does during cold-weather emergencies.

Yes. Even when heat is included (or when a building is known for heat), confirm the full monthly picture: deposit, broker fee (if any), and any utilities details stated in the lease.

Tenant experiences can vary by unit layout, exposure, and maintenance history. Review the most recent comments and ask management how issues were handled the last time temperatures dropped.

You can use them to shortlist, but you should still tour or verify remotely with the building. Heat performance is easiest to confirm when you can ask direct questions and observe the unit and radiator setup.
