Buildings with heat and hot water included near the SIM34 bus in NYC

It means the building is flagged as having heat and hot water included for tenants. Policies can still vary by building and unit, so confirm the exact utility responsibility for the specific apartment.

The page groups buildings that are near the SIM34 bus route based on location proximity. Use it as a commuting guide, then double-check the walking time from the listing’s address to your usual stop.

Not necessarily. Some buildings have mixed utility responsibility by unit type or lease terms. Always ask the leasing office to confirm for the exact unit you plan to rent.

Ask about thermostat control, expected turnaround time for hot-water issues, seasonal heat schedules, and whether there are any extra fees or utility add-ons beyond electricity and other non-heat/hot-water costs.

Usually not. Heat and hot water can be covered while you still pay for electricity, cooking fuel, and any utilities not listed as included. Make sure you compare the full monthly cost.

Openigloo helps you start with renter-reported reviews and building-level notes, but the final confirmation should come from the landlord or managing agent for your specific unit and move-in date.

Treat building-level feedback as a pattern, not a guarantee. Use Openigloo’s Q&A to find questions relevant to your situation (heat performance, hot-water reliability, maintenance response), then verify details for the exact apartment.
