It’s a filter based on building-level signals captured in Openigloo’s dataset for how the building handles rent payments digitally. Requirements can still vary by landlord or unit, so confirm the exact method with the building.

The filter targets buildings near the Q19 bus route in NYC. Exact walking time and whether a building is “near” can vary by stop, so use the building’s map/details to confirm before applying.

No. Even if a building accepts digital payments, you’ll still need to meet standard lease requirements such as deposits, documentation, and any guarantor or income verification policies.

Sometimes. Ask whether there are transaction or convenience fees, and whether fees apply to specific payment types (ACH vs card) or to certain lease terms.

Request a written list of accepted digital payment methods, any setup steps, cutoff times, how posting works, and what happens if a payment fails or is reversed.

Not always. Digital-payment capability can depend on the unit, lease start date, or building management process. Confirm that the specific apartment you’re considering is covered by the same digital-payment workflow.

Start with the list filtered for your needs, then use reviews and tenant Q&A to validate payment practicality (setup, timing, fees, responsiveness) before you tour or apply.
